The Axis of Your Practice: How Client Care Teams Drive Success

Do you know what would happen if the Earth's axis was off its tilt?

Fun scientific fact for you—if the axis is off its tilt, if it's out of balance, certain parts of our planet would go dark.

Think about your client care team as that very axis of your practice, around which your whole practice revolves. You have your clinicians and providers, leadership team, practice owners and managers, etc. Then, there are all the clients—the incoming, potential, and current. Running right through all of that is your client care team. This is why they are so important and arguably the most integral part of your practice and its success.

Consider all that your client care team takes on—they’re the face of your practice, the first point of contact with any new potential client. They're also involved in the tracking and logistics of getting people on their way to an intake session, communicating with current clients, processing updates, and tracking retention. They're directly linked to your revenue, your practice’s reputation, and the rapport and relationship between the clients and every clinician they're assigned to.

There is a lot to this role, and it is key to the practice, which is why it’s important to empower your client care team through training and other resources. When you invest in their development, you are also empowering your entire practice because they are so connected to its overall success.
